LONDON and FRIENDS!
PAC AKC Trial - Ridgefield, WA
Nov 13-15th, 2009
Poor London, I was so not there for him for this trial! I finally did the right thing and sent him off to run with people that would actually give him what he needed - and he had a GREAT time! Tammy and Allison ran him on Sunday for a double Q with two first place runs! London has such good friends!

HIGH IN TRIAL LONDON
CRAC AKC Trial - Albany, OR
Oct 30th - Nov 1st, 2009
Some long days at this trial, but the beautiful weather we had made it all worthwhile. London had some issues readjusting to the rubber surface on the contacts, but was figuring it out by the end of the weekend. London ended up with a double Q on Friday with High in Trial, missed another double Q on Saturday by a dropped bar and Sunday ... well, we were both kind of goofy! Had a great time over the weekend, no matter the outcome - London is always up for a busy agility weekend!

NORTHWEST CUP - 2nd PLACE!
CAT USDAA Trial - Ridgefield, WA
October 10-11th, 2009
After our summer break we came back for a rare USDAA trial. London has needed just few games classes to finish his ADCH forever ... and probably will for longer - there just aren't many USDAA trials locally. I do enjoy the trials for the most part, just not interested in gamblers, pairs and snooker and the really long days. I just don't need to run that many times in a day! I was pretty proud of myself, I only bailed on two classes over the weekend, which is pretty good for me!
Had some fun standard runs and even ended up coming in 2nd for the NW Cup Open Cup (22 and 26 inch dogs), which I think is fabulous for the Bun - very proud of him! Won the first round of Steeplechase and 2nd in the final round. Had a completely uncharacteristic weavepole pop-out in Grand Prix though - I was so shocked! 2nd in Gamblers, had a extremely amusing pairs run with sister Flair, and another snooker Q with Tammy. Skipped out on Jumpers, but had a pretty fun weekend overall.
So still waiting on 2 pairs Qs and one more snooker Q and I can finally stop entering those stupid classes! Probably won't be any time soon though, but, hey, I'm in no rush.

WE DID IT!
PAC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
June 12-14th, 2009
Our epic month of agility came to end with this trial, and I know I'm most definitely ready for a break! London could do this every day though, he had a great time despite some really boring courses over the weekend by one of the judges. How many times CAN you go around a single pinwheel? We're taking the rest of the summer off to herd, which London is very much enjoying!

DOUBLE DOUBLE Q LONDON!
CRAC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
June 6-7th, 2009
London has very much been enjoying our agility marathon, and this trial was no exception. He DID turn away into a tunnel without being cued to do so again - but it just so happened that this actually was the course this time. Naughty anticipating border collie. Still, he came home with 2 double Qs, so he must be MOSTLY good!

THE EPIC MONTH of AGILITY CONTINUES!
GSDCA AKC Trial - Canby, OR
May 30-31st, 2009
London was an exceptionally good boy this weekend and had some lovely runs despite some hot temperatures. Saturday a dropped bar in an otherwise beautiful jumpers run was our only issue, then Sunday I walked the wrong the course for standard! It was still a great run and then Barth agreed to run London in jumpers and had a really fun run. Two more weekends to go on our epic four weeks of agility!

MEMORIAL DAY ROADTRIP!
Eugene Kennel Club AKC Trial - Eugene, OR
May 22-25th, 2009
May was a busy month of travel for the Bun, and we very much enjoyed this fun trip down in Eugene for the four day Memorial day trial. GORGEOUS weather, great friends and fun agility - we had a great trip. London was a bit of a dork agility-wise, with some nice runs ... and some very funny moments. Lots of offcourses! He did come home with a double Q and some other nice runs though. We had fun every run!

AKC FCI WORLD TEAM TRYOUTS
Hopkins, Minnesota
May 2-3rd, 2009
What a fun, fun event this was! Awesome facility, fantastic dogs and handlers, interesting and fun courses, it was definitely worth the trip and I would definitely go again. London had no problem at all with the travel and had a great time. We had some really nice runs and a few bobbles, but we were in the top 10 coming into round 5! Unfortunately I pulled London off a jump and London popped the weaves (when does he EVER do that??) and went off course, but we still ended up a respectable 14th with some of the best dogs out there. I couldn't be more proud of my Buns!

SPRINGTIME DOUBLE Q
CRAC AKC Trial - Albany, OR
March 27-29th, 2009
After being traumatized at the last trial with the terrible weather it was nice to have some normal spring weather this weekend. London and I both enjoyed staying mostly dry and mostly clean! Unfortunately London crashed the tire on Saturday, which is always scary. After a trip to the chiropractor he was feeling back to normal! Unfortunately he dropped a bar in both runs on Friday, but they were fun runs as well.

ABBREVIATED USDAA
WAG USDAA Trial - Corvallis, OR
March 14-15th, 2009
What a very, very wet trial this was. The rain started coming down in buckets and never let up, and the wind came along on Sunday to share in on the fun. Not pleasant to be out in, and the dogs quickly became completely drenched and filthy. Still, we had a fun day on Saturday, London had a fabulous standard run, ending up the fastest time off all heights! Go Buns!
He also had a nice jumpers run, but pulled off a jump, and a nice grand prix run with a knocked bar. Was very happy with all the runs, and London loves the 'border collie charged' atmosphere of USDAA trials. Still, by Sunday the rain and wind had taken their toll ... and after a rather dismal standard run I decided to, once again, bail on all the silly USDAA games and come home to dry out instead. Naturally, the only thing London actually needs for his ADCH are the games ... because I never actually stay around to RUN them - heh. Oh well, we had fun doing the classes that I enjoy!

SHARED DOUBLE Q!
MHDPC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
January 30th-February 1st, 2009
London had a little bit of bar knocking this weekend, but some lovely runs none-the-less. Well, except for the one where I didn't support a jump, but hey. We pulled it together on Sunday for London's first shared double Q with me running standard and Tammy running jumpers - two nice runs! We'll take a break in February, our busy January trialing schedule wore us out ...

MACH LONDON!
Rose City Classic AKC Trial - Portland, OR
January 16-19th, 2009
London finished his MACh the easy way, on the first day of the four day trial of the Rose City Classic, on what was quite honestly the easiest jumpers course I think I've ever ran! Still, no complaints from me, it made for one heck of a fun start to a great weekend at the biggest show we go to all year. That's 20 double Qs, with a variety of handlers - London's MACh was a community event! Special thanks to Tammy for double Qs number 14, 15 and 16; Dawn for #11, and Daisy for running the jumpers course for #6! You can see all the 20 double Qs HERE!
Thank you to everyone who made our MACh such a special and fun occasion. Thanks to Tammy especially for our beautiful special made ribbon and gorgeous MACh bar - there has never been a more stylish MACh celebration! I'm very proud of my BunBun, and am looking forward to many more runs with my special boy.
The rest of the weekend was also super fun, London did fantastic, he loved the crowds and we had a total blast together. A great trial that I will never forget!

DOUBLE Q #19!
PAC AKC Trial - Vancouver, WA
January 3-4th, 2009
A very COLD weekend of agility, as to be expected in January, but it was great to be back running the Bun again. London doesn't mind the cold at all! He also loves the mud, which is good, as he's coated by the time he comes home. We had been snowed out of our previous trial, so I was more than ready to be running this weekend. London was a very good boy, as he always is! He got double Q #19 on Saturday, but we had some bobbles on Sunday. So the MACH will probably wait until the Rose City Classic in a couple weeks. That's okay, we're not in a rush!
